Brooke Hill finished with 30 points and 20 rebounds. She scored 29 of her 30 points in the 2nd half. Great job to the team for battling back and beating Oldham at their own game.

That is a HUGE game. Congrats to Brooke and the Ladycats.

I think she has done a tremendous job with this team. 'Tis a long season, but at this point, the young Gallatin team has exceeded my expectations. Coach Roberts is a hard nosed coach that demands a lot from her team and they seem to be responding and growing up quick. They are 7-3, I believe. Two losses by single digits, six wins by single digits. I imagine most of their games will be close, win or lose. Keep in mind, all without injured starter Emily Jones.

I was trying to make a point that Gallatin has played a lot of close games and have faired well in those situations, especially considering they two start young guards( 8th and freshman). I am well aware of Walton's success thus far. Like i said in a earlier thread, I fully expect Walton to be a SERIOUS contender for the 8th Region Crown. Gallatin and Coach Roberts will be fine without your help.
