Is that Travis Elliot?

By the size of that dude, I would say yes. But don't know for sure.

More great pictures, paNDA. :thumb:

That's interesting form on the last picture. No follow through at all. Makes you wonder if it was really a shot? :idunno:

Note Mods: I don't remember the exact scores, so that is why I am not making a new thread out of these two games.

CovCath completes "the trifecta" over Ryle HS this evening, with wins by the CovCath JV and CovCath Frosh.

The CovCath JV beat Ryle by something like 16/18 points. It was close at halftime but CovCath pulled away early in the third quarter with some great play by Andrew Schult and Conner Mashinot.

The CovCath frosh beat Ryle by 2 points. It was a very evenly played game, but the very deep bench of CovCath I think was the difference.

To me CovCath best players tonight were Nick Fredick, Dan Shumate, Cameron Murphy and Blake Bir.

For Ryle it was #23. I was just surprised to see a school the size of Ryle only using about seven players on the Freshmen team. Seems that other than 13 in for 33 who got into foul trouble, Ryle didn't sub much.

The CovCath Frosh in the three games I have seen them play this year, have impressed me with some very good and heady players for freshmen. This team will be fun to watch, as they grow up, mature and move up!

It was. He let up a bit because of Coleman. It went in if I recall correctly.

Post #48 pic 1 resulted in a double foul.

Its not Travis Elliot. That kids a golfer, his name is Jordan Erlewine

I don't know if Tate helps in this game. It looks like Ryle may need soem help in the guard position.

Too bad Mullins had ran off a bunch of good Jr's and Sr's

I'd say 3-10.

And you are saying Holmes and Boone Co. are 1-2? Just kidding. I know where your support falls.

Actually, I say the region title is between Holmes, Boone and Highlands with 4-10 up for grabs. NCC is looking strong enough to pull an upset like they did versus Boone. I don't think anyone else has much of a shot.

As to this game, I consider this an upset by CCH. Ryle fans can not be happy at all losing this one.

Ryle fans may not be happy, but this Cov Cath fan doesn't consider it an upset. :p

Its way early and a ton of hoops to be played. Things can happen over the next 60 days. I will say this was a huge victory for Cov Cath that will give them a ton of confidence going forward. If they can get consistent guaed play they may surprise some teams un the top 5.

Looked to me it was their point guard Mays who is #10. Big three toward the end of game to pull them within 2. I do think the boys get tired because as you've said they aren't very deep.

Travis Pavy is #23, solid player.
