December 16, 200916 yr Why do you think Jones will be better than Quinn? Just curious. Experience running his own program, even if it was for only 3 seasons. One thing that worried me about Quinn is that his entire coaching experience was as a Robin to BK's Batman. Jones has actually shown to be a better recruiter while at CMU than BK was, and the ties he made in Florida while leading recruiting efforts for Rich Rod and WVU have been a big plus early in his tenure. I have heard a lot of people on the UC side say he won with BK's recruits, but it was actually Jones that was the lead guy on a lot of those kids before he left for WVU. I like Jeff Quinn a lot, but in the end I think Jones has a lot more of a know quality in his resume, and I don't think UC is in position to take a chance on Quinn and hope it works out...
