While I am glad that LCA won the game and advanced to the championship game I have to feel for the kid from Hazard that dropped the pass that may have led to Hazard either tying or winning the game. From the way the radio crew described the game that player had played one heck of a fotball game. I am sorry that I don't remember the name but my only message to him would be to just look at the season you had and the game that you played vs. LCA. I wasn't there and don't know but from the radio broadcast I think I am safe in saying that Hazard wouldn't had been where they were at this season or in a position to win vs. LCA if it hadn't been for him. Nothing is going to make him feel better now but hopefully he will be able to look back to his season and what they accomplished with pride, he certainly should and the Hazard fans should build this kid up as well. I am sure that they will.

I believe he is only a sophomore. Plan on him coming back the next two years to make up for it!:thumb:

How many turnovers has LCA had all season? I'd say they had half as many last night as they have had all season. Did Hazard come away with points on those turnovers? How about penalties? I saw where Mayfield fumbled the ball 3 times(only one bieng a turnover) and had 8 penalties as well. Next week may come down to penalties and turnovers.

Hazard had a player (#51) that stopped Hayden in his tracks - I've never seen that before. It was a HUGE hit - you could hear it all over the stadium.

LCA only has committed 9 versus 34 take-aways on the season going into last nites game - LCA had 4 to's to Hazards 3 for a -1 margin - very unusual for LCA.

The kids name is Zack Blanton. Thank you for your concern, but Zack and Hazard will be just fine. What everyone probably doesn't know is that Zack seperated his shoulder earlier in the game and then came back in and played one heck of a football game. A true testimate to the effort that Zack and the Bulldogs played with all night. Zack is only a sophmore and we expect big things from him and the Bulldogs in the future.

#51 is Forrest Smith. Forrest has made those type of hits all season long.

I wanted to post on this topic before it is closed.

First of all, congratulations to LCA. We have started a great rivalry with LCA over the last three years. It is a little special because Coach Raines is a former coach at Hazard and a lot of us know and respect Paul. He is a great football coach and has been successful everywhere he has been. Congratulations Coach Raines and we hope you finally get that championship ring.

The LCA team is a great team. We have played them tooth and nail for three years now. Can't say that I am going to miss Witt, Hayden and Burdette, but they all seem to be fine young men and I'm sure will be successful in the future whatever they choose to do in life. They have several friends on the Hazard team but the competition has always been great.

Coach Dixon and Coach Fugate for Hazard came in with an excellent game plan. It was executed by the team , with a few exceptions, flawlessly. Great job by them as usual. Some day they will get their just due on the job they do and the kind of people they are. They work their tails off everyday and love their kids. I am very proud to support these coaches and this team. They are all fine young men and I couldn't be prouder of them. Thank you coaches for everything you do day in and day out.

Hazard sounds like a team that didnt get it's just due all season

Hazard team and coaches did a great job and had a terrific season!

I was impressed with their physicality and toughness! We have a few guys really banged up from this game - but should have an extra day to heal them this week due to a Saturday game.

50, 51, 60, 23( we know that guy!), 12, 1, 2 and 15 all had great games and we were very fortunate to still be playing this week.

Congrats Hazard on a great season.
