Congats Cols! Wish I could have been there.

Good luck in the next one.

Nice win, Colts...

Looks like Prestonsburg's coming to visit again. I'll be there with bells on (figuratively, of course :D ).

You know, if you'd said you'd literally been there with bells on, I think I would have to decide to go to the DeSales game this week instead of the Trinity game. :D

Congratulations Colts! This does my heart good, seeing as how I am a Colts fan from WAY back!

Define "WAY".:sssh::lol:

As in, before any of the current players were a twinkle in the eyes of their parents....some of whom I went to high school with.

All I'm saying is that HC played this team MUCH tougher than NCC did. The game went down to a last second intereption by the HC QB.

The regular season game between NCC and HC has nothing to do with this. Yes HC was embarrassed in that game, but they were DEFINITELY the better team at the end of the year.

Probably would have beaten NCC by 2 TD's had they played.

I love HC fans. Always coulda', shoulda', woulda'. Possibly DeSales overlooked the Indians in anticipation of playing NewCath and the chance to avenge a couple of playoff losses. When your team gets absolutely dismantled by a team, you can't say that they were the better than that team b/c of comparable scores against a common opponent.

Great run by the 'Breds. Four straight title game appearances is a tremendous accomplishment. They were beaten by a better team and there's no shame in that. DeSales coach sounded very classy in the paper. Good luck the rest of the way Colts.

That was back before the earth's crust had hardened, right???

Anyway, congrats to DeSales! :thumb:

Rough on the running game.

Rough on the running game.

Yeah, but every game was a real barn burner. :p

You know I have to say this... :sssh:

Once again, the playoffs are dominated by the "old" traditional 2A teams. The predictions NewCath, Danville, and Bardstown would "dominate" the reconstituted class were/are just plain WRONG.

While these teams have been great additions (and make 2A even stronger), the bulk of the class's strength was there before the re-alignment. Contrary to popular opinion at the time, 2A was NOT a "weak sister" in the old classification.

I guess New Cath making the state game the first two years in their new class wasn't just shy of domination.

New Cath was down a bit this year, but they will be back strong next year.

Congrats Colts!

You don't appear the least bit hesitant about revealing your age, onei! :isurrender:
