But if you do look at wins and losses there is very little difference.

 

And if high school athletics were all about wins & losses than you'd be right that not much has changed...

If we are going to just look at W's and L's check back in 4 years, and you will see the hard work Coach Wirth puts in showing up on the scoreboard.

FYI, About 3 weeks ago Isler was aproached by UC's football coaching staff and asked to go through a workout with them. With permission from the baseball coach, he worked out with the QB coach and a few other coaches. Based on that workout the coaches offered Isler a roster spot as a walk-on. They tried to come up with scholarship money to at least match his baseball scholarship but could not. He could of accepted the roster spot but in doing so he would have lost his baseball scholarship due to NCAA rules. I am sure he would have loved to have the opportunity to be coached by a college QB coach. :sssh:

 

Wow, that is awesome. But from the looks of things, with Collaros only being a Soph., Isler wouldn't see the field. Barring injury of course. He is a great athlete but not even close to the same class as Collaros. IMO!

Thanks for posting that info. I was still recovering from the shock of orion's post about Isler and trying to figure out how to tactfully respond. I think your post shows how good a QB Isler was.
