It seems to me that we are ASSUMING that Dr. Foster ACTUALLY made the exact statement that we all read in the paper. MAYBE......just MAYBE .....for the first time EVER apparently ...... the paper MIGHT have mistakenly shortened a comment or even left a word or two out for how much room was allotted for the story and he MIGHT have been misquoted.

I addressed that in my email. I said that I hoped he had been misquoted. I even copied the writer to allow him to defend himself if he's accused of what you imply MAY have happened.

 

If I to pick which one I believe actually happened (the quote being accurate vs a "misquote) I'll go with the writer.

 

With that said, any principal at RH that even jokes about recruiting might not be suited for the job.

Sad to say, but from knowing Mr. Foster he probably won't do any of the above suggestions already made (i.e. - public apology, editorial apology, personal apology, step down, etc)

I don't think this set's a very good example to the children. I think he should be made to step down. Something or the kids will think that this kind of behavior is just fine.
