November 13, 200916 yr I just finished with that scan. I did the full scan & it took about an hour, maybe more. There were 35 infected objects. I just restarted the computer, so it is the moment of truth... What's the verdict? I have the same thing now.
November 13, 200916 yr What's the verdict? I have the same thing now. I think silence tells you the verdict!! Anyway, like I said, I think the virus that is prevalent right now, it does this and messes up the pointers and registries, so when it is cleaned they need to re-set.
November 15, 200916 yr Did you try a system restore to an earlier date? Do that and run a virus scan after you restore to a prior date. I know there were some issues with the Rivals site, and it seems that the virus you are talking about has been going around.
