I think it's tough to determine whether or not a book (or a tape, or even in mayy instances a videogame) is educational or entertaining. I may read what is considered to be a classic novel (like "To Kill a Mockingbird") strictly for my personal entertainment; while getting a dose of education in the process.

By your thinking, 4th of July Fireworks, the big shin-dig parade through FTH each year, Christmas tree lightings in the town square...concerts in the park...all should be done away with because they are entertainment. Right?

A serious question. Is a cheapskate someone who takes advantage of the library, rather than Wal-Mart, for "entertainment"? Or someone who hates the idea of sending a buck to the local library so they (Junior and company) can purchase something that's not available in the college library?

A cheapskate is one that has a job, has money, but is too cheap to buy or rent, they want if free.
