Seriously--Hope he's OK and gets to play Friday, although he won't be needed!! BW rolls in this one!!

They don't need him in this game. He only plays on a couple of the special teams so I say sit out and get healthy. I expect quite a few players to sit this one out for Beechwood. Anyone with a nagging injury of any kind will sit out to get healthy for the stretch run.

The KHSAA went to four teams making the playoffs in 1991 and Beechwood started their massive run of state success the same season, winning ten titles in eighteen years. I thought it would be interesting to see who the Tigers have defeated in the first round and the average score.

 

First, Beechwood hasn't lost a first round game in that time. Second, they've beaten a whole lot of bad teams. Third, the average margin has been 41.3 points per game.

HA HA The 94 first round game vs Bath County was when I scored my first and only Varsity touchdown when I blocked a punt and recovered it in the end zone. The Tigers name the score in this one.
