Fort Campbell finishes the season undefeated.

 

Now if they can just complete the playoffs the same way.

It will be an absolute shock if Fort Campbell doesn't win 2A. They might be the biggest favorite in the state.

Who in 2A can play 4 quarters with the Falcons?

^I don't think that there's anyone in 2A that can play four quarters with the Fort Campbell Falcons......but as my man FC once said, the games are not played here at BGP, they're played on the football field.

 

Congrats to the Fort Campbell Falcons on an undefeated regular season, I know it meant a lot to those boys to do this.....you've earned it guys.

Congrats Falcons on going 10-0 and still putting up 40 plus points in the mud bowl. That has got to be the wettest game I’ve ever been to. It rained cats & dogs from start to finish.

I doubt the Falcon players think they can play four qtrs.:lol: They haven't had to all year. Half would go into shock and the other half would be saying. So this is what it's like to play the second half.

I'm so happy for all of you. It's good for the POST. (Ft Campbell). It's been a rough 6-7 years. This puts a smile on faces.

Nice win for the Falcons to end the regular season. I was really surprised that we scored 44 considering the weather conditions. We will need some serious work on the playing surface at Fryar Stadium prior to next Friday.

Don't quote me on this one......but there's a small chance that we could play our home playoff games elsewhere. But the weather could hold out on and not rain all week.

 

On another note, I just wanted to say that it's certainly been a stellar year for the Falcons. I hope they continue to dominate throughout the playoffs and don't have a challenge at all (although I firmly believe that they will). While it was wet as heck out there last night, it was a joy to watch. It was fun to watch some of the boys sloshing around in mud on the sideline. It was also funny to see some of them walking gingerly through it, trying there best not to get dirtier.

 

It made me think of Tim.......this was his kind of weather. Tim didn't gingerly walk through anything, whether it be a small puddle or a big one. While we were in Florida in early July, and got caught in the rain, while at a waterpark nonetheless, Tim just wanted to be in the rain (not crouching down in a sheltered area). He loved the rain, the muck.....everything about it. He loved the cold too. He would have rushed over to his mom at the end of this game, after the team huddle in the end zone, to give her a big muddy hug, then he would have done the same to me, and he had gotten so big and so strong (strongest underclassman on the team) that there wouldn't have been anything I could have done to defend myself, maybe my cheapo poncho would have shielded some of it. He then would have hunted down his good friend Alex and done his best to sneak up on her and give her a big muddy hug too. After that, it was on to his friends parents. He didn't do this in an attempt to be rude or inconsiderate, he did it to share his joy of his experience with them.

 

I miss my son but I'm thankful to have good memories of him. I'm thankful that he had a chance to participate and play on two state championship teams coached by Shawn Berner and his staff. I'm thankful that he had so many friends on the team that thought enough to dedicate the season and each of these wins in his honor. It's good to be a Fort Campbell Falcon fan!

 

Play on Falcons, win state....like a champ!

I am not sure that any team in 2a can even give this sqaud a good game this year. Fc has the perfect combination on and off the field for a super successful program...my hats off to you and your community!! Go Falcons!!!!!!

 

On another note..Bill W. I feel like I know your son and his spirit definately lives on in this community as well as this team. Keep the faith my friend, you are admirable to all that have the pleasure to know you..God bless you and your wife!!! I so look forward to meeting your Family when we come there for semi-state....
