I realized that only after they cleared the scoreboard at half time of the Newport/Cooper game. I arrived for the first game just as the fourth quarter started.

Games are four eight minute quarters and I believe a six minute half time.

 

Score is kept but at halftime the scoreboard is set back to 00 to 00.

 

No one fouls out but they do keep team fouls.

 

Three man crews and from watching the first couple of games they are letting the kids play but the men in stripes are calling a lot of walking calls.

 

Saw some good play and some very sloppy play but that is excepted this early in the season.

 

Most teams are subbing players in and on a regular basic but that is what scrimmage games are for.

While the Boss doesn't mind me spending all day watching games, this early is in the season I don't like pushing her good nature too much, so I am home and I will be taking her out to dinner tonight after we attend Mass.
