Was very surprised at how well green defended the wildcat offense. My hats off to a victory for green. I guess I can say that we will see them again...

Agree. Monroe could not find any rthym. What was the deal with the flag thrown against green county's side line after a flag was thrown on the green county player who spike the ball and the penalty for that was walk off. Was it a side line warning? Both teams got breaks , some bad calls , and miss penalties. BTW I am not implying that green won because of the refs, Green won because they outplay monroe on key downs and their lineman open holes when it counted.:

Tough loss to swallow... Green was no doubt the better team last night. Monroe's offense really hurt the Falcons, only gained 150 yards of offense and turned it over too many times, one for a TD...

One more thing that bothers me is how we run the ball so passively, running the football isn't an art form like ballet or tap, it should be done at full speed and your movements should be aggressive...

BTW, I still think the Falcons can make it to Ft. Campbell, but the road just got a lot tougher...

There was talk that Green County had some lingering injury issues after losing to Lone Oak ... are the Dragons fully recovered now?

Just wanted to say that Danville seems to be waking up out of the funk they have been in. I think you can count on a lot stonger threat from the Ads than you may have been counting on, I guess it remains to be seen, but if the Ads play to their potential you may not see each other again.:thumb:

Green just outmanned the falcons last night. I agree with SemperFiFalcon about passive running, Green had no trouble being very agresive from the back field. Goes to show you that smash mouth football still wins games! Green smashed it last night and we took it....

Tough loss for the Falcons. Hope to see them visit FC later this year.

 

One bad thing.....the NYPD just outside the gate was sold. It's got the whole "Closed for Renovations" sign....but it's not gonna reopen as NYPD, the best pizza in Clarksville is now a few miles down the road on Madison (still NYPD though).

Looks like a hard fought game congrats to GC and good luck to both teams in the playoffs.

Congrats to Green Co. for a big win and a well deserved win. They outplayed Monroe on both offense and defensive lines which are were football games are won. Monroe made some turnovers but that is part of a football game. Hope to play Green again but Falcons have some work to do if they want to beat Green.
