Whitley County 63 Perry Central 18

Featured Replies

Colonels set school records in total offense and rushing.

Whitley is finally beginning to play like I expected them to all year. They could make a nice run in the playoffs.

I still believe Whitley is the top team in that region. This is a list of my top teams in that region after regular season district play.

1. Whitley Co. Very physical with good speed at the skill.

2. Letcher Co./ Harlan Co. ? The talent is about even and so is the head to head coaching match.

3. Pulaski Co. They do not have great size, but maybe the most team speed in the region.

4. SW - They are solid up front on "O" and "D".

5. Perry Co.- Amos is a great talent, that could be dangerous for any team in the region on dry ground.

Holy Cow!!!!

I thought Whitley was the better team, but I thought that Perry would be tough to beat at home with Amis.

Any Stats on Amis?

Looks like Black has the Colonels loading up for the playoffs.

Harlan Co. vs SW was not even close early in the season.

Whitley is playing better now and does any one know how the district seedings stack up right now?

Whitley has been a real "Jekyll-Hyde" this year...will the real Colonels please stand up?

If this is the real Colonel team, this may have been a message game to the rest of the region, which has seen its teams all try to give the role of favorite to each other throughout the season. Maybe someone is now trying to finally assert dominance...?

Letcher will be district champion. Whitley and Harlan Co. will not be decided until after Friday.

Unless Harlan beats Bell County Whitley will be the number 2 seed and the district runner-up

Good win for Whitley.

If Lynn Camp and Harlan Co lose, Whitley wins. Whiley and Harlan Co could both possible have 8 points. Who gets 3rd then?

I think Whitley has to beat Rockcastle County to pass Harlan County.

LCC beat Whitley at Whitley and would have to go to LCC if they meet in playoffs. Interesting possibility. Might happen. Still I put LCC in front.
