Due to the flu outbreak, Jackson County has cancelled school and all related functions through Tuesday, 10-27-09. Like many countys, the flu has hit Jackson County very hard the past few weeks. Nearly every employee who works for me from Jackson County has children that have been recently or are currently sick.

I hate that for the Generals, but this game probably would have been pretty ugly anyway.

First 10-0 season for the Jumpers in nearly 25 years and only one of 5 Jumper teams to do it.

Congrats Jumpers and Good job Coach Lucas. No one and would have predicted this ten weeks ago.

It has been exactly 25 years. I was a freshman on the last undefeated team in 1984, my son is a sophmore on this one. A senior from the 84 team has a set of twins that are juniors on this team as well. Pretty neat to have father/son teams play on 10-0 teams that far apart.

I do hate that we don't get to play this week. Since Somerset played in week zero we have a bye next week so it will be 3 weeks between games when the playoffs start.

Congrats Jumpers!!!!

Go Jumpers! Congrats to all those young men. They've really worked hard this season, and they've been a joy watch.
