I agree. The only part of Curry's game that didn't look very good to me was his punting, I don't know if that is typical or if he just had a bad night. On the other hand HC's punting team had an exelent game. As did the rest of their special teams.

 

I agree, Henry County's special teams has came a long way from their first game. Keep up the hard work Wildcats.

It is true you need to score more than 7 points to win most games, but Henry Co did less with much better field position than Hills. Henry Co had 4-5 posessions start inside Western Hills' 30 and only scored 7 points from great field position. Hills had more drives than did Henry Co, but started from deep in their own territory (results of good punts by Henry Co). Only drive of the night by Henry Co was the last drive that did not result in any points. Henry Co won the game, but as ColonelMike stated during the week it was a toss-up. If these two teams play 10 times, probably split even at 5 wins a piece.

 

Curry did have a rough time punting which kept Hills behind on field position. The wind was blowing strong from North to South (I think) and Henry Co's punter also struggled on punts into the wind. Just seemed that when Hills was punting from deep in own territory it was always into the wind, giving Henry Co great field position.

 

Will be interesting to see which North Oldham team shows up. The one that was soundly beaten by Henry Co or the one that thrashed Spencer Co.

Like KD can't give you an exact answer but there were several. I think one of them was inside the 5 and another inside the 10

I want to say at least three were inside the 20 and one of those three stopped on the four.
