October 12, 200917 yr With Mike Brown as the owner, I could see a new longsnapper next week and I could see Brad St. Louis being the long snapper next week or Brad St. Louis being the cornerback next week. Who knows with Brown running the team. That sounds like something he'd do in the meetings this week. Mike B: "I know he's been our best DB thus far, but what do you guys think about moving Brad to DB and Joseph to snapper? It will save us a hit on the salary cap for releasing a verteran!" Bengals Staff: (Looks at the ground much like in Hard Knocks) Long story short, Mike B, no longer amazes me.

October 12, 200917 yr Marvin Lewis on Brad St. Louis after today's game. “I think it is a little bit mental, and I’m glad we were able to come through it in the end again today. We’re working hard with him and just trying to help him to deal with it. We’ve got confidence in him. Yeah, last week we looked at some other guys, but that’s just what you do. You look at some other guys. You go with what you know and what you expect. He’s a great professional and pro, and we’re going to keep hopefully helping him with technique and some things, just the things we’re trying to do.” http://www.bengals.com/news/article-1/Bengals-Ravens-Postgame-Quotes/dac99ca3-fdef-40c8-8855-1f943ca996f1 CUT HIM! Obviously it's not his technique. If it is his technique, would he be perfect in practice? No. If it is his technique, would he have been the long snapper for 10+ seasons? No. It is mental. And it is absolutely killing the Bengals. And it's inexcusable. CUT HIM!
October 12, 200917 yr Roll'em all you want. Truth hurts. But what you said wasn't the truth, so now I'm confused...:idunno:

Let him go on a retreat to a monk village and gather his thoughts. He can come back next year for another try when he's ready.
October 12, 200917 yr But what you said wasn't the truth, so now I'm confused...:idunno: Sure it is. Mike Brown is just like Dubya in that loyalty trumps competence.

October 12, 200917 yr Sure it is. Mike Brown is just like Dubya in that loyalty trumps competence. You have absolutely no way of knowing if what you're posting is anything close to the truth. Because Jim thinks something, doesn't make it so....
October 12, 200917 yr I hate the bengals but I am impressed at how they overcome incompetent mistakes and keep winnning. If I'm The kicker I pay somebody to take him out if the bengals aren't smart enough to get rid of him.
October 12, 200917 yr You have absolutely no way of knowing if what you're posting is anything close to the truth. Because Jim thinks something, doesn't make it so.... Um, there's lots of evidence there, true-believer.
October 12, 200917 yr Um, there's lots of subjective evidence there, true-believer. Fixed that for ya. :thumb:
October 12, 200917 yr Fixed that for ya. :thumb: I've got two glowing examples, and there's lots more. Dubya had the guy from FEMA who did a "super job" dealing with Katrina. Just one of many. Mike Brown has kept four Bengal assistants since 2001, and six more since 2003. Many of these guys have been wailed about ad nauseam for years. Who was the D-coordinator who finally left (or was fired) recently after many, many years of poor performance?

Chuck Bresnahan was bad, but he didn't get a whole lot of rope...
