Any hotty totty fan is a friend of mine:thumb:

Thats why I always played in the infield. Running in on the ball is very hard. He should have stopped and that would have kept his eyes from hopping around.

No it isn't. That's one of the easiest catches to make. He just flat booted it. And how could he stop? The ball would have dropped in front of him if he wasn't coming in on it. That said he is the one that put the Cards up 1-0. I think the bigger story is the lack of production from Albert and all the runners left on base.

Yeah because you can always make pitchers throw you strikes. They are not going to pitch to him. That's why other players have to step up. They have yet to do that so the Dodgers have no reason to pitch to him.

I am happy and rooting for the Dodgers. :thumb:

He's 1 for 6. If the pitchers aren't throwing strikes why is he swinging? The fact is he has struggled the past few weeks. He hasn't hit a home run since Sept 9th and for the Cardinals to have a chance to get back in this he has to make the Dodgers pay when they do pitch to him.

But even bigger than him Matt Holliday and other players have to come through in order for them to even pitch to Pujols. The Cardinals inability to score runs and constantly leaving runners on base is the biggest reason for their not pitching to Pujols. He is trying overly hard to put the ball in play and as a result he is 1-6. He is not the reason the Cards are down 0-2.

What really sucks is how much better the Cardinals are. Waino straight up dominated the Dodgers. But with all the runners they have left on base, and a dropped out #3 in the 9th, they don't deserve to win.
