George Rogers Clark 35 Corbin 30

I agree Corbin will be alright.I heard some people talking this maybe a good lose or wake call.I don't know maybe it is hopefully it gives the staff alot to look at.And the kids played till the final whistle they are comming together as a complete team.I agree with Caleb and Ryan on the feild at the same time that way the focus isn't just on Caleb.

Opposing defense just keys on Caleb and I don't blame them....if they have something else to draw their attention both Caleb and Ryan and ultimately Corbin will benefit.

Why is it that we do not account for the QB running the ball? We have been burned by the QB in almost every game this year and many in the past seasons. If, by a lucky chance, we make the state finals imagine what Antonio Andrews could do to us....

Your exactly right.

I also think Caleb and Ryan should be in the game at the same time more often. I don't think Caleb got one touch to the strong side. There were some bigger holes being opened up on that side as normal. I realize that backs need to be able to run to either side, but if your right handed, you have more advantage running to the right, it is easier to cut. I also believe that Caleb has proved himself to make big plays, but he never touched it on that drive, as a matter of fact, he was not even a factor because he was a blocking back. We never did attempt a quick pitch which was also a mistake.

We will be alright though and our kids played hard.

Not sure what the play is called - but on occasion we split a lineman wide, I will not go into more detail but that play should have been tried in the 4th.

Maybe this will do us good! It should help out alot down the road, expecially if we run into NCC again. You have to give credit to GRC, they knew exactly what Corbin was going to run and when they were going to run it. However overall Corbin played a good game and just came up short in the end.

This will help in the long run. Nothing wrong with the play calling or predictibility. Anyone with a backfield like Watkins, Fritts, Taylor, ect. will be predictable somewhat- most of the time one of those 3 are getting the ball! It doesn't matter if they know its coming if our team carries out blocking assignments. See the Belfry Pirates. Corbin's players just need to learn that it takes 11 operating as 1, every snap, and we will be fine!

I just hope both teams take out lessons from this game that will serve them well come playoff time. GRC just out foxed us on the fake punt, and made a few more plays here and there.

Has anyone heard that the Knott County game has been moved to Thursday night.

I have heard this was in the works as well. I am sure the folks at Knott County could shed some light on the matter.

I agree, it's good to get tested and face adversity as long as you learn from it and progress.

GRC just played a little better than we did, props to them!
