This will be a very good game and there will be no runaway score from either side. I say Corbin wins in a close one. 21 - 17

I agree. The thing that worries me is, in the past GRC has "laid an egg" for the Homecomming game. Coach Columbia and staff has got to keep the team focused and take care of business.

Good luck to you all. And, if you don't mind, what is the best way to get to the stadium if traveling from Corbin? We will be taking I-75 north toward Lexington. Thanks.

Why did GRC schedule Corbin for their homecoming? I know GRC'S schedule has no easy games on it this year, but why not put one on the schedule? Just guessing, but I bet Corbin has not played in no more than three other teams homecoming in the past 25 yrs due to their storied history! With that being said, I say the score will be 38-12......Corbin.

I would say the best route would be take the Boonesboro exit (95). Once you get to Winchester, you make a left at the light (cannot remember which one, there is where we need some Clark Co faithful). I know once you make a left off of the main road, the school will be to your right.

They played in Williamsburg's homecoming several years ago. I believe the Jackets beat them in a great game. There may be a hex on the Hounds for homecoming games. I doubt it. The Hounds are getting better every game up front and their skill people are beginning to dominate.

No Don't turn!!! Once you take the exit off 1-75 to Winchester....it is a stright shot to the High School. You will come to a red light...just past Southwind golf course...go stright. Then another red light...go stright... then not far on the right is GRC. Once you get off I-75 toward Winchester, you will not make any turns, except to turn into the school.

It takes me about 1 hour and 10 minutes to get to the first Corbin exit and I live just 1 1/2 miles from the school. Hope you all have a safe trip!!! Any more info I can give you...just let me know.:thumb:

These are the home games to choose from:

9/4 Montgomery Co

9/18 Lafayette

10/2 Corbin

10/16 Tates Creek ( district game)

10/30 Campbell Co

I can't see Corbin winning by this kind of margin. GRC beat a very good Lafayette team a couple of weeks ago and have played a very good schedule.

Corbin 28 GRC 21

I CAN see it.:rolleyes::clap::thumb:

To maybe clarify what I meant. Why schedule Corbin at all, with the schedule they already have in their own district, and instead play someone not quite as strong and powerful as Corbin is year in and year out, and don't anyone say its a money thing on a large crowd showing up, as GRC will have a large crowd on homecoming no matter who they are playing? Schedule a patsy to ensure a victory and a happy homecoming! I am not going to say any certain names they could have scheduled, but we all know who those kind of teams normally are!

Corbin has had trouble in their secondary against passing teams in the past. GRC should focus on hitting the big play early. Running the football will be hard against (as always) a stingy and physical typical Corbin Defense.

Corbin - 35

GRC - 21

Corbin has an excellent pass D these days. Their run D is very good too.
