Will that district win pretty much ensure they will get in playoffs? Pulaski, Southwestern and Lincoln left on district schedule. Don't see Lincoln and Mercer both winning 2 district games to knock them out.

They could beat PC IMO but not SW. I think that PC is very beatable they proved that last week getting beat by Barren Co.

Beating a one-win team by a mere ONE POINT at HOME is struggling. Bottom line - Mercer lost, which equals South was and is the better team.

No offense but people were saying that when Jaggers was there was also. It seems it is always the coaches fault in Harrodsburg.

The simple facts are 5 to are not easy to overcome, period. Young or old teams can not put themselves behind the eight ball that many times and expect to win.

None taken, the popular catch phrase floating around Mercer County and that can be heard shouted at Mercer games is "I thought Jaggers was gone." Not a lot of happy people in Mercer County right now.

Jaggers was more of a personality thing than coaching. Nobody will tell you that Jaggers can't coach. He is a very good coach.

Not for sure about this years coach but the players don't seem to have that "edge" that is needed to win games. What I do know for a fact is that the new coach probably has the states longest losing streak (0-10 at Nelson in his last year and now 0-4 at Mercer this year). To me, this says a lot about a coach and his abilities. Tough early schedule with no doubt. However, they should have won the game Friday night and I just do not see it getting any better although I hope it does.
