I'm confused. Can't we be nice and classy in our comments about the game? I saw a lot of grit on behalf of the Beechwood team that did not give up and got the game back to two scores with the ball. I saw Beechwood torch the CovCath secondary on way too many plays considering the Tiger's passing stats going into this game. I say discuss away.

Woooo! I just thought it was a nice comment from a fan that attending the game. I didn't mean to imply anything other than the fact he was gracious about winning and displayed that in a classy way. Didn't mean to offend (confuse) you.

Not offended in the least. No need to apologize either. Just wondering why we should not discuss the game.

Pass D seems a bit suspect for CovCath, and if you make turnovers like that against a team who can convert it could really hurt. But CovCath totally dominated this game. Beechwood fit the 1A bill, they were small and young. Vocke and Colosimo look to be up and comers for them. Wasn't very impressed with Rigdon, but I'm sure it's a tough position to be in, because there isn't much around him and his line gets owned.

 

CovCaths line gave Erpenbeck all the time in the world to throw, that was good to see. It's a lot easier for him to get comfortable and not just take off if he knows he doesn't have men coming at him.

 

Overall good job by CCH and good job by Beechwood for almost making it a game and forcing some big turnovers. Dixie and CovCath will be a good game..

Erpenbeck was 17/20 163 yards and a TD.

He ran 11 times for 102 yards and 3 TDs.

2 incompletions and 1 INT were long passes.

TD was a long pass.

Others were in the 5 to 15 range. That's what their offense does.

FWIW, as posted elsewhere, Tom Brady's WR's get a lot of their yards on YAC. If you can hit a guy on the run, or find an open guy with room to run, that is just as effective as a pass 50-yards in the air.

Good showing by the CovCath Crazies..... Just wondering how many younger/older sister of the Crazies, had trouble getting their uniform skirts to fit on Monday morning.

Great group of Seniors the Class of 2010 has turned out to be, outstanding job and congrats gentlemen!
