I was able to watch Mason play a lot this summer with KY Elite. He is a very special player.

Mason Monroe will be the head for the team, but I am not sure they have much body. I kind of lost track last year when players started quiting the team. Can anyone tell me what they have coming back this year. Are there any big players that can help. I just think Mason is going to have his hands full if there is not any more there than PC had last year.

Monroe is very solid, but like Sharp, I'm curious what they bring to the table other than that.

Deadeye shooter Timmy Cooper returns for Pendleton County and fellow senior Dillon Greene had a great summer for the team.

The Florence Twins who where starters. I know there was a kid from the Jr. class, also. I think there was another, but not sure on that.

Glad to hear Dillon had a good summer. Timmy is a shooter. My concerns are do they have any big men down inside? The last big man PC had was Kane Belcher and they have not had one since. When your tallest people are just barely over 6ft(and that is pushing it) it is hard to contend.

Height, or lack of, will definitely be Pendleton County's achilles heel. Their center last year was realistically around 6"1. However, from what I hear, strictly rumors keep in mind, there's a kid by the name of Aaron Bonar, who's around 6"5 who may be coming out to play basketball. He's a junior, and a football standout. I know nothing on whether or not he can play, but I know he's very athletic.

The Florence twins were the only starters. The kid from the junior class was a jv player.

What style of basketball does Pendleton County play?

Pendleton's lack of height pretty much forces them to play a quick-paced, quickfire game. Luckily, they have the shooters (especially in Cooper and Monroe) to do so.

Yeah I hope Greene has a break out year alot of people expected big things from him since he did start as a freshman but the star dimmed a little, I think this is his last go around hoping he takes advantage of it! Really looking forward to seeing this Monroe kid play and see what he has, I know Simms can coach he just needs kids to toughen up and be interested in winning basketball. The 05 and 06 teams should be a testament to all PC teams they can accomplish alot if there head and heart is into it.

In all fairness to Dillon he has seen some pretty rough times in his years with the PC teams. He has not had a lot of help and almost every year players have dropped out during the season that only made things worse. Dillon will give a 110%, I just wish they had a big man to take some of the pressure off him. You are absolutely right that Simms needs for his kids to toughen up, but that is another story.
