September 2, 200917 yr :thumb: I haven't read the books but I love the dark humor. I also love how he calls his bad side his "dark passenger". You need to get on that...if those are the parts you like then I expect you would love the books. They also have a TON of differences from the movies.

September 10, 200917 yr I loved the first two seasons. I actually watched every episode in a weeks time. It was awesome. The way each episode played into the other was perfect, and the story line through each season, and each season finale were also awesome. I tried the 3rd, but it wasn't the same as the first two. It seemed liked they were forcing a show to me. I don't know, maybe it got better after the first couple episodes, but I just wasn't feeling it. I would've been happy if a movie... a very long movie... was modeled after season 1 and 2 with it ending after the second season. The finale was such an appropriate to his saga.

December 14, 200916 yr I've really enjoyed this season- the introduction of the Trinity Killer gave a whole new twist to the show that drew me in- but what a shocker at the end. Kind of makes me wonder where they will go with it now.
December 14, 200916 yr Really loved the Trinity character this season. Lithgow nailed it IMO. Definently didnt see that ending coming it was looking like there wasnt going to be any twist in this episode.
December 14, 200916 yr Author Wow. That ending has really messed with me. I can't believe that happened. How will Dexter react? There's no one for him to go after because he has taken care of the person who did this already. Will he lose it?
