According to the talk show monday; Lewis comes to Cronin and states he doesn't feel comfortable throwing the ball. Union had no problem throwing the ball for 215 and 2 tds. The "D" and the running game was great. Those young men took the game over. Really what is it that you have against him? I mean seems like most other Georgetown fans think he is the best choice for QB right now to. I am guessing maybe that you just have a friend or someone that you know that you have bias for and would rather see playing? That is the only thing I can think of for all the negative talk you keep saying. I mean the playing conditions for that game were terrible, so yeah he probably did feel more comfortable with the running game and it looks like it was the right decision. I think that shows leadership to tell your coach that, because if he doesn't tell the coach that. Then who knows how the game turns out if they tried passing more. Most QB's would not go tell a coach that, so that is basically swallowing his own pride to tell the coach that, because he knew they would be better off just running then. I don't know about you but I would love having a guy like that leading my team, who cares more about winning than anything else.
October 5, 200916 yr This statement is being taken out of context. Lewis told Coach Cronin he did not feel comfortable throwing the ball in those conditions. At the point in the game that this statment was made, it had been raining all night and there was not a dry ball in the stadium. :thumb:

October 5, 200916 yr Like I said before, nothing against Lewis: He is a very good player. I'm sure the rest of the team cares about winning as well. I think they could do better. I'm not bias in any way. I have watched g-town play. IMO They have other players that could take care of the ball. Lewis has yet to throw a TD in 2009. He has managed to throws 7 ints and less than 300 yards combined. It's tough to win games with these numbers. I'm sorry if I've offended anyone, just my opinion fellows. You've got yours and I've got mine.
