I hope your correct. I would love to see him do well. I have watched every single game he's played in as the starter and they have better QB's on the team. IMO He wasn't benched for the last game of the season so Mathews could play for no reason.

 

Conference play starts Thursday. I hope he finds a way to win.

I agree, but I think the Tigers are maybe still a year away from getting back to what most folks expect from a Georgetown team. Union will be a very tough test.

 

I was talking to one of Mason County's assistant coaches a couple of weeks ago, and the subject of last season's 5-5 record came up. He started counting (on the hand that sports a G'town national championship ring) and figured that the Tigers lost 5 games over his entire 4 years there.

more than a few things have changes since the Tigers last won a title. First the MSC is much much better. Back then they had to compete with maybe one good team. Now there are 4 MSC teams in the top 12 (and none are Gtown). Second their recruiting ground of Cincy and that area is also being recruited by other DII and NAIA schools moreso than it was back then. Many of the Tigers key players hailed from that area. Add those two things together and that's why Georgetown as fallen off some.

Rob Madon is doing well,Cody Minus is still not 100% and Jordan Burke is coming along fine. Mike Lewis can do the job.

Then you need to give me a link or something becuase I grew up with the kid and talk to him atleast weekly and I doubt what your saying is factual. Kind of like those 2 picks you said he threw.

This statement is being taken out of context. Lewis told Coach Cronin he did not feel comfortable throwing the ball in those conditions. At the point in the game that this statment was made, it had been raining all night and there was not a dry ball in the stadium.
