I would also add that the Boyd County coach on his post game comments was very kind and complimentary of the Raceland team and tradition. Thanks to Boyd County and the hospitality shown to us from the golf cart escort in to the water and ice on the sidelines. Great field and people.

I thought the wideouts for Raceland stepped up last night. Farley did have his time in the spotlight in this game. From what I seen Boyd was not as strong as Raceland on the line they may have been bigger but not stronger. The conditioning Raceland has done showed up also, Boyd looked like they were wore out in the later parts of the first half and towards the end of the game. I think that if Farley plays as well in the Ashland game then he maybe stepping up for this team. I believe Ashland is better than Boyd and we will find out come friday night.

I am still in disbelief. We blew it, but i give the rams their props. It was ours to lose and we did. Great game by Tyler Arthur. If the big run would have counted.... but it didn't. Oh well.

This was one of those games that shows you haven't beaten the Rams untill you have more points and no time on the clock. Our Lions thought they had it with a 12 point lead and only 5 minutes left. Raceland plays 4 quarters of football and we don't, this is what almost cost us the Fairview game last year. The Lions really need to work on this problem. But I was listening to the game at work, so I didn't get to see it. May just be that Raceland didn't actually start playing untill the last 5 minutes.
