Final

Monroe County has a very nice squad. Good luck the rest of the way!

How did Wayne County look?

Wayne looked pretty good tonight. I was looking for more from Hall, but did not get to see the back he was last year.

Monroe on the other hand really impressed me with their young OL tonight. This team just needed to get that first varsity game under their belt with almost the entire offense being new to a varsity game.

Great Game Falcons!!! And my hats off to Wayne to always being a real class act team that is one of our best games every year!!!:ylsuper:

Yeah DJ Hall hadn’t improved as much as I expected, he was tough to contain last year but never really got anything going tonight. Wayne is pretty quick all over the field and seem to have all the pieces necessary to have a real good football team.

Nice win for a fellow Falcon team.

As for Monroe I was very impressed with the effort tonight, Some surprise players stepped up took advantage of opportunities and some star players made plays where their seemed to be no play to make. This was a game that I was a little worried about, being it's the first game of the season for a young Falcon squad playing a veteran Wayne Co. team on the road, but Monroe's hard work paid off and they got a much needed victory to start the season off great...

1-0 Go Roe Go

Nice win for a fellow Falcon team.

Right back at you...:thumb::banana:

Great job Monroe County Falcons!

Good win for Monroe. OL looked a lot better than the week before. Also some young players stepped up and made some big plays. Defense really looks solid. With Green Co. win over Middlesboro looks like could be another Green and Monroe showdown for the district. Will wait and see on Glasgow and Metcalfe before saying much more. Good win Falcons and with improvement each week can see Monroe making a good run in the playoffs again.
