Why is President Barack Obama in such a hurry to get his socialized medicine bill passed?

 

Because he and his cunning circle realize some basic truths:

 

The American people in their unimaginable kindness and trust voted for a pig in a poke in 2008. They wanted so much to believe Barack Obama was somehow better and different from other ultra-leftists that they simply took him on faith.

 

They ignored his anti-white writings in his books. They ignored his quiet acceptance of hysterical anti-American diatribes by his minister, Jeremiah Wright.

 

They ignored his refusal to explain years at a time of his life as a student. They ignored his ultra-left record as a "community organizer," Illinois state legislator, and Senator.

 

The American people ignored his total zero of an academic record as a student and teacher, his complete lack of scholarship when he was being touted as a scholar.

 

Now, the American people are starting to wake up to the truth. Barack Obama is a super likeable super leftist, not a fan of this country, way, way too cozy with the terrorist leaders in the Middle East, way beyond naïveté, all the way into active destruction of our interests and our allies and our future.

 

The American people have already awakened to the truth that the stimulus bill -- a great idea in theory -- was really an immense bribe to Democrat interest groups, and in no way an effort to help all Americans.

 

Now, Americans are waking up to the truth that ObamaCare basically means that every time you are sick or injured, you will have a clerk from the Department of Motor Vehicles telling your doctor what he can and cannot do.

 

The American people already know that Mr. Obama's plan to lower health costs while expanding coverage and bureaucracy is a myth, a promise of something that never was and never will be -- a bureaucracy lowering costs in a free society. Either the costs go up or the free society goes away.

 

These are perilous times. Mrs. Hillary Clinton, our Secretary of State, has given Iran the go-ahead to have nuclear weapons, an unqualified betrayal of the nation. Now, we face a devastating loss of freedom at home in health care. It will be joined by controls on our lives to "protect us" from global warming, itself largely a fraud if believed to be caused by man.

 

Mr. Obama knows Americans are getting wise and will stop him if he delays at all in taking away our freedoms.

 

There is his urgency and our opportunity. Once freedom is lost, America is lost. Wake up, beloved America.

I can tell you this. As someone who could hardly be considered a fan of President Obama, posts like this are NOT going to convince anyone to be like you. In fact, posts like this probably just motivate people to become more supportive of the President. Your adherence to inflaming talking points only motivates the other side.

You do realize that you just posted a thread doing nothing but attacking President Obama, then accuse me of being a liberal for attacking the person? Look in the mirror.

 

As for me, I am a classic liberal in the sense that Ludwig von Mises and Friedrich von Hayek were. I'd don't support the economic interventionist policies of President Obama and the Democrats, or the foreign policy interventionist policies and tremendous federal government expenditure of the Republicans.

 

I never accused you of writing it, just posting it. If you'd care to look, you'd find that I've posted hundreds (perhaps thousands) of times against capital gains taxes, cap and trade policies, abortion rights, gay marriage, soda taxes, windfall profits taxes, tariffs, quotas, the New Deal, and many more issues. If that makes me a liberal, then so be it. And on the flip side, if in order to be a conservative I need to copy and paste whatever useless drivel I can find attacking our President, just as the left-wing "liberals" you despise did for the past 8 years to former President Bush, then I don't want to be a conservative.

 

Maybe I'll just join Hearsay's Horizon Party.

I agree with this. I think alot of people were fooled into believing he's someone he's not. Or it least they wanted to believe it.

Agree partially - I don't think he is a racist like Stein is implying here. But the facts are, there are anti-white writings in his books and he did sit in Wrights church for 20 years.

Agree partially - For someone who talks of transparency he sure does seem to hide a lot. And he is ultra-left. He was rated as the most liberal congressman, based on his voting record.

This is a little over the top, but I agree with the premise that people NOT as qualified as your doctor will be making decisions about your healthcare.

I'm with you brother,and I have a hard time beleiving my fellow Americans can be so blind.All I hear from the Liberal crowd is this stuff about how straight thinking people like us are nuts,fools or ignorant.They don't realize that true Americans that love God and country may be thinking the same of them!Seems name calling is all they've got.Don't you beleive that liberal line about your only making things worse,or the word conspiracy thrown at us when we speak our mind.These are standard liberal combacks that are wearing thin.Liberal thinking got us into this mess.Liberal brainwashing is nearly complete.Conservative clear thinking Americans have made this country the greatest nation the world has ever known.
