I can buy the Ashland above Johnson Central. And I can give you the others, to a degree, except Lawrence County. I like Lawrence County, but with their record over the past three years, I couldn't put them in the top 10.

Lawrence should be much better this year. I like Coach Salmons and think that despite the record he made some strides last year, you cant forget they gave Belfry everything they wanted last year and have a ton of kids coming back. As for my Muskies over Raceland I think when you look at what GC lost last year and what Raceland lost last year it is obvious who lost more. I think you guys are in for a suprise when you see GC's overall team speed.

Thanks Ram, Rowan might be a team to watch to. They have one of the better backs in the area.

Coupon, you and I agree on Lawrence and Rowan Counties. I do not have them in the pre-season top 10 but they will be on the rise. We will definitely have to keep our eye on them.

I'm not going to jinx everyone by posting my ranking, but Lawrence has almost the whole team returning from last season, who may have lost every game but but was in 8 of them going into the last 5 minutes of the game. They also have a few transfers comming in this season. My neighbor got a look at them and said they are looking much better this year...so far.

I think most pre-season polls are based on tradition and expectations. I hope everyone, including East, does well. That is of course, except when they play Raceland.
