Garrard County

Former assistant Doug Simpson replaced Ed Rall.

 

Simpson played at Garrard County from 1983-87, then pitched for four seasons at Eastern Kentucky University. He was drafted into the Pittsburgh Pirates organization where is pitched in the minors for two seasons before injuries cut short his career.

 

Simpson was an assistant at Garrard last season and has been a periodic contributor for several seasons on the staff.

Western Hills High School in Frankfort is looking for a new head baseball coach. No word on a replacement.

Who will be at Ballard and Desales?

Burgin is also looking for a coach.

They have already hired Burton Richardson.

The word is that Graves at Desales resigned. No word on what he might do? Heard today that Pitman from Manual may be at Ballard? Is the correct?
