I am familiar with Pawsat, Gilbert and Setty. Could you give us some info on Lang, Lang, Manship, Black, Harris and Osborne? What grade, height,position, did they play on varsity, JV or Freshman last year? Are Gilbert, Setty and Pawsat the only ones with varsity experience?

J Lang 5'11 pt guard- super quick and lock down defender who has played well this summer. Senior

B Lang- 6'4 wing player- athletically gifted, very good defender, has to be ready to step up.Senior

T.Black - 6'3 Sophomore- Can score at will from inside and out, needs to improve his defense and strength. Sky is the limit if he puts in the effort.

J.Harris 6'1 Sophomore- The most athletic player on the team by far, kid was lightning fast, tenacious defender and rebounder. Need to work on offensive skills.

 

How tall is Black, did he play varsity last year? I always enjoyed watching Barner play. Remember his dunk in the regional finals last year....really sparked the Royals. I hope everything works out for him and his family.

 

Tyler played a little, not much, expect great things from him this year.

I agree about Tyler Black I could very well see him starting.

You may call it what you may, but if you call that a win with a questionable call at the end of the game, so be it. As far as injuries, Pawsat was injured as well throughout the season, after the shot he took from Phares at Scott County. He suffered a concussion and sat out 2 games I think and never really was the same. To Pawsat's credit he played through it and was a huge difference in the region finals. Was he 100%?, hardly think so. It showed in the next game at the State Tournament where he never attempted a shot. The answer to this is Mason/Clark or Clark/Mason are the best two teams in the region, however if injuries do occur, which often happens in sports, it is the how well the players and coaches adapt to the certain situation. Best of luck to both teams in the upcoming year, and represent the 10th.

From your post sounds like Mason has Pawset, Setty, and Gilbert with experience and then the rest need to stepup/develop. Intresting to see what depth Mason will have this year.

Playing with one leg would slow you down a little but would save on the cost of shoes.

Not so fast...NEVER count out Scott. They will be a team that I would not want to face in the regional tourney. Great coach, and they return alot of talent. Also have a new transfer in I have been told. :sssh:

Campbell County could surprise some folks this year. They will have 6 seniors led by Jolly and some strong young talent on the bench.

The starters at the beginning of the season will not matter, but at the end of the season, it will be Setty, Pawsat, Gilbert, Justin Lang, and Tyler Black, with Josh Harris, Manship, and Bradley Lang giving minutes off the bench. Osborne isn't ready for the big time yet in my opinion, but he could get some minutes at guard next year to improve his game. He has potential.

 

Tyler Black very well could be the next big thing at Mason County. He is a beast and his offense will be needed for the Royals this year. He may not start at the beginning of the year, but he will be a key player at the end of the year. BEAST.

 

Mason County will be young, and will miss Middleton, Downing, and Hamm. They will be very hard to replace, but they will be right in the thick of things at the end of the year.

Campbell County could surprise some folks this year. They will have 6 seniors led by Jolly and some strong young talent on the bench.

 

Don't we hear this every year though? All last year I heard about how good Scott and Campbell Co. were, and I never really saw it come to fruition.
