I think there are instances where a park should have the authority to ban guns inside the cave. As a person who is not pro-gun I can accept the need for firearms in much of the natural areas or our national parks. Self defense from wild animals and dangerous drug cultivators can be an issue in some of the more remote areas of our national parks. But I'm with rockmom in that I don't see the need or rationality of having guns while taking the cave tour.
