June 14, 200917 yr A week ago they had the best record in B-Ball, do y'all really know the sport? Not true. The Dodgers did and still do have the best record in baseball. When you question someone's knowledge of the game, shouldn't you make sure your facts are correct?
June 14, 200917 yr Not true. The Dodgers did and still do have the best record in baseball. When you question someone's knowledge of the game, shouldn't you make sure your facts are correct? Yeah, but it's only cause they have Joe Torre. So the Yanks had the 2 best records in baseball.
June 14, 200917 yr I really don't like either team- I used to prefer the BoSox due to the arrogance of Yanks' fans, but since the two recent titles I feel that the Sox have taken over in arrogance as well. Anyways, the only reason I posted here is to say that Mark Teixiera is a whiny crybaby who really gets on my nerves. He's the kind of guy that you can't blame a pitcher for throwing at him.

June 15, 200917 yr Fact is if I'm wrong tell me, don't critizize me. American leauge then. Wearing on the Yanks by being 0-8 against a team, means nothing..my point. If you knew Baseball why bring it up? They can be 0-20 against them and still beat them in the playoffs. Bashing Bama shows your lack of class against me. I will not do the same.

So asking if I or others really know the game isn't bashing on us? You were criticizing us for not knowing the game but when you said that the Yankees had the best record in baseball and were WRONG then we were bashing you for pointing out that weren't following closely enough to know your facts? Isn't that a bit hypocritical to criticize one fan base for not knowing the game when you were of base on your staements? You automatically assumed that I thought that the Red Sox 8-0 start meant the Yankees were finished. That wasn't the case at all. After the 3rd consecutive Red Sox sweep both Girardi and Teixeira got very touchy about the subject so I legitimately asked whether they were feeling the heat. The New York media were all over them over a historically bad start against their main rivals and the Yankee coaches and players haven't reacted well.
June 15, 200917 yr So asking if I or others really know the game isn't bashing on us? . He can belittle us, but no way shape or form is it okay to turn the tides.
June 15, 200917 yr Is all the national media attention on the Red Sox historic 8-0 start starting to get to the Yankees? With their 3 run rally against CC Sabathia and the Yankees bullpen in the 8th inning last night the Sox became only the 3rd team to ever start out a season 8-0 against the Yankees, joining the 1912 Red Sox and the 1990 Oakland A's. Last night the Yankees put a lot of emphasis on the fact that they are only 2 games out after the sweep but today it seems to be getting under their skin a bit more. First Joe Girardi accuses Brad Penny of throwing at A-Roid on purpose (for what its worth I agree with him--but still enjoyed it): Girardi thinks pitch was intentional Then Teixeira lets Red Sox owner John Henry's Twitter post get to him: Tex not amused by "curse of MT" The teams don't meet again until August--just how much play will that matchup get?
