June 3, 200917 yr Author Maybe one of the greatest Yankees, and a Hall of Famer, but I don't know about "one of the greatest MLB players of all time." I respect your opinion but I have to disagree. Jeters name in the record books in several different categories already and still going and I believe if he will be condiderd as one of the Yankees 2 or 3 best ever which I think that he will then he will be considerd one of MLB's best ever as well. I think that mention with the likes of Ruth, Gehrig put him amoung MLB's best ever. Jeter imo still as several good years left.
