Take care of the basketball.

A solid PG who can handle the rock to start, they need that more than anything!

Coach Kelsch does a fine job, he will have his team ready for the season!

 

They do need to handle the ball better and cut-down on their turnovers. I would also like to see them develop, if possible, a go-to type of player! Someone who can get them a basket or get their shot off when needed!

Hannah Haight would probably be that player.

Hannah Haight could certainly handle that role--she is a ballplayer! Is she mentally tough enough? I personally think so! Does she have the killer instinct mentality that that type of player needs? I don't know about that just from watching her. I think she could become that player for this team and it would be of great benefit to the Lady Bears to have that!

Some are suggesting on a boys bball post that the ladies may have a new coach next year. If so how will that affect the season.

We heard these same words last year. I don't think you guys really want to hear the truth.

 

There was a lot of hype last year over Bracken. What players will they lose? Who do they have coming up?

Not going to happen.

Well here I go. Last year all we heard was Coach K will do this and do that. He will have them ready to play and so on. Well I watched them play a couple of times and they got blowed out of the gym the first half both games. The girls responded and played even the second half, but they were certainly not ready to play. On the other hand, if you expect to be great every year, you are only kidding yourself. I hope these kids have a good year ahead of them. Good luck.

It seems to me people are hung up on how these girls played against St. Patrick two times during the season.

 

Coach Kelsch does his work, he works w/his players, and he has them prepared as any coach can. How that translates over to the game and floor, most times is out of the coaches hands. It is their job to motivate, but some players just cannot be reached while others can be.

 

Pretty tough to judge a team and/or coach on 2 games.

 

There is a lot of young talent @ BCHS, let's see what happens over the course of a couple of seasons!
