Dog Found in Fort Thomas

Featured Replies

About 5:50pm this evening found a very nice looking, well cared for, and very friendly, Siberian Husky roaming in the street near Bivouac and Crown Ave, looking very panicked with the thunderstorms approaching. The dog has a collar but no identification. Looks to be around 100lbs with one blue eye and one brown eye. If anyone knows this dog or has any information please let me know. I will be posting pics shortly.

There's a possibility it could have a chip implanted. But those usually have an ID tag that alerts you to that fact.

Yup. I found a dog last year that was chipped and called the number and they contacted the owners who called me in about 15 minutes.

The dog is extremely nice and I really hope someone knows the owner.

Those Huskies are sweet dogs but they love to run.

That wouldn't be one of those sledding dogs that that one guy in town has. He has about four or five of them.

Might be. Is that the same guy who walks them near Southside Deli and The Pub???

Not sure. I usually see him on the avenue around St Thomas Church.

I check and its not one of his dogs.

Went for a walk this evening with the dog hoping that he might lead me to his home. Walked up Fort Thomas Ave. past St. Thomas almost to the post office. No luck. Called the FTPD, no dogs reported missing yet. He is now resting comfortably on our couch. Going to put some signs up on the Ave. in the morning.

I just know how I would feel if my two labs were lost on the street. I would hope someone would do the same for them.

That's good karma Gunner. This world needs more dog lovers like you!

BTW, very pretty dog!

Gunner, you are awesome! :thumb:

I know I've seen that dog go past our house, but I just can't place him with a person.
