Dress 50 kids, Play 14 kids, Not much different in the numbers. Your program is going in the right direction with kids don't play on both side of the ball. The football team has not beat a team over Class A except for a very bad Madison Central Team. Looking for big things this season. Go Raiders.

Every single kid who came to practice got to play. If they did not play on Friday night they got to play on Mondays. Every kid got to play. We dressed 50 we played 50. As an earlier post said this year we will also play a 6 game freshmen schedule. If you would like to comeover to the athletic complex and look at the schedule in person come on over, we are there every morning by 7:00am. Just say "I am the Banker and I am here to look at the schedule" and I will be glad to show you all 3 schedules. Go Raiders!

Mc Creary still has 20 to 21 kids showing up for Wts. and Plyo's. I remember a time when you couldn't get 4 or 5 out there. I think I was told they have 12 goning to Uk camp this week and 12 goning to Hawg Heven in July. Good Job.

McCreary had 11 players go to UK's Friday Night Lights Camp, last night. 2 players ran a 4.6 in 40. Neither was Watts or Roark they were Dylan Ross R / RB and Preston Shoopman R/RB . Way to go Guys.

Then why do you get on here and say that he runs the show, has all the power. I am hearing they will clean house if they don't have a winning season. Baseball and Basketball won with the same players, so time will tell.

Raider Rob controls everything. Dont let anyone kid you. Why dont the AD and the football staff get along anyway?

Looks like someone else knows how things are in Raider land. I think you answered your own question. Raider Rob is AD and Basketball Coach, guess who get's all the goodies.!The Administration, from the TOP down dosn't care about Football. This causes a lot of problems between the Basketball and Football Staffs.

You are wrong when you state that the administration from the top down do not support the football program. Maybe if they were more willing to work with others things would be better for all involved.

You are wrong when you state that the administration does not support the football program. The administration does support the kids. Maybe the football coaching staff needs to start supporting the administration and there decisions. I did not realize that there was a problem between the two staffs.

I'm not wrong! Look at the Football Facilities at McCreary Central compared to the rest of our District, or compair to any High school around no matter what class. We're way behind. I was at all Football Games , Jv Games included, I saw the Super. 1 time and the AD 1 time. I don't call that support. Maybe our new Principal will support Football more than those in the past.

I can tell you that I didn't make the above statement about administration and I take offense to someone saying that I don't support them. I may disagree with something and the way they are done but I have always discussed my disagreements with them personally and do not talk about my disagreements in public. Myself and our superintendent are friends and I have always supported him. At one time (many years ago) I considered myself and our AD good friends and even though we may not be as friendly now I have never tried to do things to undermind him in any way and I think he would even tell you that I have always talked to him directly if we had any problems. I have worked hard for the kids of this county I attend boys and girls Basketball games, softball and baseball games, soccer matches and any other activities that I get a chance to. If a coach from another sport has asked for my help I do my best to help them. As CK said above our football facilities are lacking to say the least and I don't think any football coach likes the fact that the grass on our field is dead and our pressbox looks like an outhouse but I can tell you that I have seen worse days for football in this county and I have always tried to get things done in a positive way. So, don't get on here and say that I (as a football coach) have not and do not try to support the other coaches and our administration because that is very far from the truth. I guess it just gets under my skin a bit when people that don't know everything (or anything for that matter) about a situation or has a bias gets on here and talks about something they don't have a clue about. I think everyone from our county knows who I am and I am willing to sit down and talk (rationally) with anyone who want to discuss the situation with athletics in our schools. If we had, lets say, 100 people that had a vested interest in our athletics who was willing to sit down and talk about what was best for the kids (who by the way are the ones giving up their time for all our sports and are the reason why coaches should be coaching) and talk about the situations rationally and for the best interest of our kids then I would say we could get our entire athletic program heading in the right direction. I have been coaching in McCreary Co. for 20 years and this has never happened in that time period and the result is we (coaches) still don't work together like we should! My invitation is always open for anyone that wants to have a positive discussion about our athletics. To say again please don't get on here and put me in a group and then say that group is doing something that I have not done as an individual and as I said earlier I have always supported our administration even when I may not agree with them!

I was not pinpointing any one coach, I should have said some on the staff, my apalogies for grouping you with some of the others that I have heard bash the administration repeatedly in public. Maybe you should try to get them on board with you and your attitude and the view of the staff will change for the good. You along with one of the other assistants on your staff seem to have a positive attitude about the district as a whole. Maybe over time things will improve with the facilities, which are in need of some upgrades.

You are correct about Watts and Roark, both ran 5.1 40. I was thinking Watts was quicker.

They both are quicker than timed: Watts and Roark both are legit 4.6 in 40. Got in a bad timing group. + Watts coming off ankle injury.

Watts was playing this past weekend in the state AAU tourny he looked pretty good. He must have let it heal since then.

You are right, he did look good. This kig is a player no matter what he is playing. He can run a 5.1 backwards. Ankle is better.

Times can always be disagreed upon. But, half a second is tough to argue.

No doubt he is quick and could possibly be a 4.8 guy, but for a timer to miss twice (I assume they ran two 40's), is tough to do.
