April 2, 200917 yr You've seen the kid play, right? Yeah I have seen him play before. I like what he bring to the Reds more so than Keppinger.
April 2, 200917 yr Here's a pretty good read on Rosales from Hal McCoy. http://www.daytondailynews.com/s/content/oh/story/sports/pro/reds/2009/03/20/ddn032009spreds.html
April 2, 200917 yr Keppinger was hitting below .180 and isn't as good as either of them in the field. Plus Gonzo is 100%. For now
April 3, 200917 yr I never really understood the..."player to be named later" trades. Not sure if this counts as a question or not but I believe that these types of trades are a list of players the Reds (or whomever) can choose from within a certain time period. An example would be a list of 5 or 6 minor leaguers that the Astros and Reds agree upon and the Reds would then get a chance to look closer at those individuals during the alloted time to make a choice. I could be COMPLETLY wrong, but this is what I thought they were.
April 3, 200917 yr Ryan Freel plays hard too. Anyone that plays hard in Cincy is immediately tagged "Pete Rose". I even think the kid that ran on the field a few years back and slid into home was mentioned as being "Roseesque".

April 3, 200917 yr According to the reports on 1530 if he makes the Astros major league roster then the list is a better list than if he is assigned to the minors.
