So what current players leave and what recruits do you think wont come if Gillispie is fired???

 

Its too early to tell right now but there is a very good possibility players like Hood and Orton might try and opt out of their LOIs and look at other schools because of the coaching change.

 

As for players transferring, its up in the air for me. Patterson may be gone if BCG is gone. He seems to have a strong connection with the coach and I'm sure if he is gone, that Patterson will be gone as well. Patterson is a 1st Rounder and all that matters is where he goes in the 1st Round of the NBA Draft. Meeks will most likely return because IMO he is not ready yet. Meeks can't create his own shot and get separation like you see with players in the NBA, he just isn't ready. As for transfers, Liggins IMO, will be gone. Galloway should be back as he is a junior and will be a senior next year. The only way he transfers is if it is to a lower classification which I just don't see. Stewart also falls into that same category so look for him to stay. Porter will stay, obviously, Harris as well. Miller could very well transfer as he is a freshman and so he has plenty of playing time left for his college career. Alot of this, I'm sure, will be sorted out in due time after BCGs firing is released by the university (although it seems to be already official, despite no release). Look for UK boards, like this one, to be absolutely BUZZING with info for the next couple weeks, maybe months.

It must be true. Pat Forde just said on ESPN that BCG will not be back and this should be confirmed by friday. Like GT said, Billy D. to UK and Anthony Grant to Florida.

 

For the record, I heard some things at the sweet sixteen tournament that actually didn't surprise me to much. For example, BG doesn't treat former UK players with much respect. Heard he and Richie Farmer don't get along at all and he's not the only one.

 

I was at the State tournament when BG was there and saw him and Richie Farmer talking and laughing on several occasions. Saw BG talking to Richies kids.

Farmer and Gillispie seemed liked they were getting along just fine at the state tourney. If he didn't get along with Farmer, however, I couldn't blame him for that one.
