Holmes will likely be preseason top 25 next year in several polls with what they return.

 

Do any of the Holmes faithful know what type of schedule they'll play next year? I'd expect to see them in tournaments with prestige such as the KOB, LIT, and the Lexcath tourney. It'd also be nice to see them play a few out of state opponents with national recognition.

 

What about Holmes v Princeton? Would love to see Sibert and R. Johnson go toe to toe.

Not sure of all the details it was posted in the boys basketball thread earlier in the season. It's supposed to have 3 or 4 out of state teams and the top teams in Kentucky. Maybe some Franklin Co. fans can help us out here.

Holmes will be the preseason number 1 in the state as well. I don't see many teams even playing with them. Nationally, I look for them to get a lot of pre-season press, they will be an elite team in the nation. I hope they can get some match ups with other National top 25, this could be one of the best teams to come from Kentucky in a long time.

 

With the Johnson brothers and Pittman, I don't see any other team being as long and as athletic as Holmes next year. I predict they will average 5 dunks a game next season, no one can defend Pittman when he drives to the rack.

Absolute travesty. National polls are difficult to gauge, but I don't see how a teams that won the State Championship in Kentucky could go down a spot. I think Holmes will finish in the top 10 nationally next year though.

Sounds like he should just suit them up in Wildcat blue to me and forget about Meeks, PP, John Wall, et al.

Pittman will likely go the JUCO route, but will end up at a big D1 school, maybe UK. I think the Johnson brothers could possibly play for UK, especially R. Johnson, he could play at any college in the country. UK would be lucky to get him.

Unless some things have changed since developments with the reorganiztion of leadership of the Marshall Co. Hoops Fest, Holmes had comitted to play in it instead of the Frankfort deal. This all came about after the game against Largo, MD @ South Laurel. Steve Woodward long time head man of Hoops Fest has steped aside and Marshall Co. AD and staff will run Hoops Fest this year.
