my vote is again Ft Cambell Falcons!!! :notworthy: But I will have to say you will have to watch glasgow in our district because they are always unpredictable. Monroe has some big shoes to fill losing most of the starting line and QB. The jv QB Arnett is a great baseball player that will most definately go to college on a baseball scholarship, but may fool a lot of people around here with his natural athletic abilities. He has a real good feel for the field and the position. Rb wise, Monroe will be tough! The return of Kendall which will just be a junior is great because the kid has explosive speed, he is joined by the power, run you over, of Vickerey that was super impressive on JV last year. This combination of speed and power in the back field is very volitile for coach Pettet. And not to mention the return of one of the best recievers in 2a, Wilson...offense is covered if they can find and ol with the heart of last years seniors.

 

The true goal of MC is to travel to FC to eat some Pizza...They are a class act group of kids and fans!!! And with a little help onto BG for a state title game!!!:ylsuper:

Oh, we've got a great little pizza place right outside Gate 3! I'm tryin' to get them into doing a Falcons Friday Nights type thing, stay open later.....stuff like that; I don't know about that trip for MC to BG for the state title game though.

 

So I stay on-topic: It's good to start readin' football again. I'm lookin' forward to the season and hope that everyone does well....being a bit biased myself, I'd say that the Fort Campbell Falcons will make an awfully strong run at a third straight title.

Understand. On paper it looks like DeSales returns a lot from last year’s team that only lost 3 games, one to NCC and one to Doss. Is DeSales poised to challenge NCC in the Regional Championship this year?

I’m not sure what to make of Glasgow with a new coach and coming off of a winless season. However, didn’t Monroe County go from 2-9 to 12-2, so anything is possible. I can certainly see a Monroe vs. Danville Regional game in 2009.

I'm Glad most have forgotten Danville...I feel this years Danville team will be quietly good...Which is the best thing in the world for these guys....This team will be one the fastest Admiral teams in years...:thumb:

I think Desales has a very good chance to win the NKY vs. there District matchup. But like I have said(too much already I know) don't sleep on Holy Cross. I honestly believe they will beat NCC, too much Offense for the very young Breds D.

Would Corbin meet NCC in the region finals or the State-Semi's this year if both teams were to make it that far?
