March 19, 200917 yr I never put my grill away. Neither Rain, nor Sleet, Nor Snow, nor Dark of night, can keep this man from his annointed GRILL! The beer taste just as good standing in front of the grill in snow as it does when it is 70. Grill on McDuff!

March 19, 200917 yr The weather being cooperative and all, we decided to grill out today. Porterhouse steaks and something we've never tried before (and they turned out to be REALLY good) - grilled artichokes. Salad and baked potatoes rounded out the meal. I love temps in the 70s in the middle of March. I grilled out as well. Ribeyes and Baked Potatoes... YUM!
March 19, 200917 yr Me and a buddy took advantage of Sunday's nice weather to fire up the grill. Steaks, baked potatoes and some good French bread, as well as lima beans and corn from mom and dad's garden. Haven't had lunch yet, so when I get home, I'm going to whip up a nice Philly cheesesteak with the leftovers …
March 20, 200917 yr Since our condo went up in flames they have banned all gas/charcoal grill in our condo community. The only time I get to grill is when I go to mom's, and I can't wait until the next time I can light the coals.
March 20, 200917 yr On the first bolded, I remember that as well. Seems that the key phrase here is "inviting ourselves". I know, but two wrongs don't make a right... On the second bolded, mcmama did the heavy lifting here. She did the trimming, then steamed them for 30 or 40 minutes. Cut them in half, removed the hearts, seasoned with salt and pepper and slathered them with olive oil. Prepared an herb/Green Goddess-based dipping sauce; we didn't have any chipotle sauce in the house. All I had to do was grill them for 4 or 5 minutes on each side. Thanks for the recipe, I'm writing this one down.:thumb:
