I'd say point by committee is a probability. However, it's kinda like NFL qb's...if you have two, you really have none.

Owen will be very solid next year, and I'm looking for them to be the first lady rebel team to make it to the sweet sixteen. I'm looking for senior guard Lauren Lowe to be a big contributor next year!!

Good post, Mr. Jones. They do have all the parts.

I've only seen Owen play a couple times. What are some things they need to address?

Gallatin's Brooke Hill could make a run at top rebounder.

Brooke Hill and Tori Wilhoit playing on the same summer team this year and they are rebounding machines.

Owen needs to find a second and probably even a third scorer to compete for the region. Everything is ran through Gayheart who is a great guard but if a team shuts her down, they don't have a consistent scorer to rely on.

That second scorer may be found in Owen's good crop of next year's freshmen. Some of these girls will definitely be pushing some of the older girls for playing time.

I agree with you roundballfanatic. Owen's young group is very good and could see valuable minutes throughout the season.
