It was like a Buffalo Wild Wings commercial and they were "buzzing" the clock operator to keep the game going so everyone could keep drinking beer all evening.

I knew somebody would figure it out! Nice!!!

It was a crazy ending. That guy was not going to run the clock in the last 11 seconds. I have never seen an official have to have the clock time reset 3 straight times because the clock operator would not start the clock.

Vernado is a beast blocking shots.

The game turned when Hopson tried to posterize Vernado and he made him look stupid for trying to dunk on him.

Ha Ha good one I agree with you.

Should I not be happy that the Vols lost? Why?

One of the SEC teams had to lose, so it may as well be the Vols!

(We have to live with the Vols faithful here in Southeastern Kentucky, JB!)

Now you know how I feel being a Vol fan living in Nky with all of these UK fans.

No, I don't. We outnumber these guys and can keep them subdued, somewhat. Beating them twice this year helped us out, too!!!! No matter what, we did do that!:D

(I understand some of what these guys do, due to proximity. Are you a transplanted Vol?)

No born and raised in Nky. I went to Beechwood from K-12. I root for the Vols in basketball but I'm more of a football fan.

That's different!

I can see UC or OSU, but TN seems like an odd choice for a NKY citizen!

Not really DDC. My dad is from Richlands Va. When I was growing up he talked about UT a lot. I started liking them after watching them a few times. There are actually a lot of UT fans around here I was surprised about that.

That is odd.

How is that odd? Just because you live in Nky doesn't mean you have to root for UK. I respect UK but I will never be a fan of their sports programs. A couple of my friends actually root for UK basketball but they are big UT football fans if that makes any sense.

You see a lot of that down here.

I was just commenting on the proximity of everything in NKY concerning UC or OSU.

Geography and many years of sub-par football created the Cross Bred creature that is the UK basketball/UT Football fan in SE KY.
