Why would Harlan County be pulled to the 14th? I can see Jenkins being sent to the 15th but not Letcher. It makes so much more sense. As for Perry and Hazard coming into the 53rd. I don't see that happening because that would put the top 3 teams in the region year in and year out in the same district. They need to just send the 56th district completely out of the 14th. Send them packing to the Winchester area. If the get rid of the 56th they should bring Allen Central, South Floyd and Prestonsburg into the 14th.

Is the KHSAA gonna redistrict soon?

Redistricting is up for the 2010-11 year. These were speculations on my part. I just tried to keep all schools from the same county in the same region.

Harlan County borders Leslie, Letcher and Perry.

My question is why would they move Rockcastle back into the 13th when they are so much closer to the Somerset area.

Someone from Letcher Co is throwing a fit about me moving them to the 15th? SHould we move the 3 Knott Co schools to the 15th and keep the 2 Letcher Co schools in the 14th?

Move Knott and JBS.

That plan looks good HDE. I didn't know that Red Bird might be closing. I just hate to put Harlan and Harlan Co in 2 different regions.

So Rockcastle would go back to the 13th, and have to drive past both Laurel's to get to Redbird, OBI and Clay County? That doesn't make sense to me.

True. But that is why we won't see North & South in the same district. None of the teams in the 13th wanted that, and it was sort of a concession to them that when North & South came into the 13th, that they wouldn't be in the same district.
