First the trade mess now they use a confrence call with him to try to clear things up. Getting ugly in Denver! I would LOVE to see Tampa jump on him! I think Den just signed Chris Simms too.

If something doesn't change fast I think in a shocking move he will be gone!

Whose whining? Cutler's? What did he say? The coach is the one wanting him out.

Cutler is whining like a stereotypical out-of-touch professional athlete.

SO the Broncos looked to trade him. So freaking what? Any player is expendable if it makes the team better. Doesn't mean they don't want him.

Suck it up. Act like you have some.

The coach is getting slammed but Cutler asked to be traded when Bates was fired + he and Shannahan were tight. My opinion is that the new coach didn't want to hang his hat on a guy that didn't want to be there. He felt like he had Castle locked up so he didn't even talk to Cutler. They blew the deal and had egg on their face. Cutler was mad and the coach instead of nipping it in the bud called him on a confrence call. It has gone from bad to worse.

Wouldn't hurt my feelings if he left. I never really liked him or his skate board hair cut. I root for him and hope he wins every game because I'm a Bronco Lifer, but other than that I was furious when they traded up two years ago to get Cutler when they still had Plummer. I'm not sold on this HC either though, I loved Shannohan.

The coach has flat out dropped the ball! Cutler broke the standoff to go in and talk to the coach/owner. The conversation was dominated by the coach he said he was going to have "his guy" running the show. Not one time did he tell Cutler he was his guy. The coach needs to realize that Castle isn't coming there.

He starts the whole thing by trying to bring in Castle with no plan B. He then calls him on confrence call instead of man to man. Now Cutler comes in and he pretty much closes the door on him.

Interesting things that could come out of it:

1: Det trades the #1 and maybe another pick for him.

2: Dallas Romo for Cutler

3: Browns Quinn+pick for Cutler

4: He gets a bigger contract

5: Teams like Bucs, Tenn, Chi, Car etc go after him.

I'd like to see the Bucs get him. I could see the Browns working it out. Who knows though.

Den has created a major problem that they didn't have to start. They have egg all over their face IMO!

Cutler's biggest gripe is that the new head coach didn't tell Cutler he was "sorry" for trying to bring in another qb.

Is he serious? Is he going to cry in the huddle? Can you call an audible with a pacifier in your mouth?

Who says qb's are prima donnas?

It's a little bit deeper than that. Cutler basically felt stabbed in the back and betrayed by everyone from the coach to the owner and now feels he can not and will not trust them again. He's already put up his house and his parents house for sale that he owns he is how ever keeping his penthouse he has in downtown Denver.

Its not deeper than that. He feels "stabbed in the back" for one reason. He was trade bait. The coach didn't apologize. Apparently Mr. Cutler is bigger than the team. This screams "its all about me."

Explain to me why a guy should be upset that he was going to be traded. Is it the new coach's job to pacify Cutler or is it the new coach's job to make the team better? Or is Cutler somehow above being traded?

So if you were a pro qb coming off a pro bowl year and you found out that you were almost traded from the media and not the head coach himself you wouldn't be mad? That is the main problem with the situation. The coach never approached Cutler and said I'm going to try and trade you.

I agree it does scream me but the new coach put this thing spinning down hill by not being honest about the situation up front. He basically told Cutler at their meeting this past weekend that he did try and trade him and he thought he had it in the bag. This was after he had come out and said he didn't initiate the talks. That's not being honest.
