I will politely disagree with you on that. In fact, I think both schools were fairly evenly matched in their strengths of schedules. Grant County usually, and sometimes to Coach Kinmon's demise, has a fairly strong schedule.

 

I'm going by the fact that SK beat Grant 2 of 3 yet their record is 9-16 vs. 19-12. So, to me, SK is a better team than Grant. Now, how does a better team get to a worse record than the team that it is better than? - by playing a tougher schedule.

 

I think these two teams are very close, indeed. Not sure either is definitively better than the other.

 

Your logic, however, is flawed. Basketball is determined by the individual team matchups, not matchups with other opponents. Ergo, the fact you win (or lose) to a number of other opponents doesn't change the fact you may have the perfect combination of players/talent to beat another team with a better record.

 

The fact that SK has beaten Grant 2 of 3, but has a worse record could also be easily explained by the Pioneers simply being less consistent than Grant.

 

Not sure either team wins more than 5 games in a ten game series.

How would you describe it then. He is tenatious and has no quit in him no matter what. You should see him play football, the kid is amazing, if you had five Loomis on the floor you would rarely lose. So I am not sure what you are meaning by your comments.

I'll agree with you that he certainly does play hard. But since you asked, there's a fine line between playing hard and being overly agressive. In the times that I've seen him play, this line has been crossed numerous times.

At times maybe as a freshman I would have agreed but this year this kid has matured and just plays agressive. Your definition of overly agressive and mine are different. I believe Loomis plays hard, goes after every loose ball and plays lock down defense. Maybe you have experienced some of his play is why you feel the way you do but like I said in my previous post if you had 5 of him on the floor you would rarely lose.
