February 27, 200917 yr Huggins teams just aren't smart at all and it showed down the stretch. That was terrible. Huge win for UC. Never listen to GT about betting.
February 27, 200917 yr Author Larry Davis almost cost the team a win, he's gotta be smarter. Besides a 2 minute stretch, Bishop played well tonight, nice to see it... It seemed like neither team wanted to win at the end.
February 27, 200917 yr Somehow they hold on. Neither team executed down the stretch. UC must beat Syracuse or win a few in the conference tourney. But at least there's a chance.

They steal one in the Carrier Dome and its looking good... If they lose, they'll most likely finish 10-8, and hopefully 9th in the BEast, so they'll play the 16th, and then the 8th placed teams, which will give them a good chance at getting two at MSG... I only feel 35% confident they'll make it, but its still a possiblity...

They have to get the Cuse and one other big one in the BE tourney.
February 27, 200917 yr Big win for UC? Big loss for WV? Nope, the huge win was for Mick Cronin and the huge loss was for Bob Huggins. Now maybe the UC fans will understand they have a very, very good and capable coach in Mick, and start to support him and his program at UC.
February 27, 200917 yr Heck yes it's a big win for UC. It's keeps their tourney hopes alive. Lose this and there's no chance at all. The game was ripe to be stolen by WVU and UC stood up to the test.

I honestly don't know any that left with Huggins... Granted I only have like 4 UC fans as friends...
February 27, 200917 yr Author The thing that is killing them is their record against the RPI top 35. They have to get the Cuse and one other big one in the BE tourney. I believe they're 5-8 against RPI Top 50 now, but still 0-8 against RPI Top 25... They desperately need the one at the Cuse or get 2 or 3 in the tourny. With ND coming on strong, I think they win out and they're in with wins @G'Town, G'Town, WVU, @Cuse, and ND, with the UNLV and UAB wins also. 21-10 and 11-7 in BEast is a tournament team, IMO...

Agreed, and hopeful that it happens.
February 27, 200917 yr Still can't believe they won that game without Mike Williams. Great effort by everyone to get it done. :dancingpa
