I look for Russell to keep this one close until the end with the Lions winning by 12.

Good friends will be matched up in this one. I think Hampton prevails this time but could be a different story a couple years down the road. Lions by 9.

Lewis Co. has a really nice team. I'm not sure Russell can answer their middle, but I'm going to go with the upset. Devils by a nose.:thumb:

This is a game that I am going to sit in my seat and enjoy from both sides. I am good friends with Coach Kidwell and I grew up in South Shore and have some close ties to the Vanceburg area. Since the Rams couldn't take care of the Lions, I am going to cheer for good plays both ways. My gut says Lewis wins, but it's so hard to count out what Merle has done with his boys. Since I have family starting for the Devils and a good friend as their coach, I'll say Russell by 5.

Good luck to both teams and congratulations for advancing to the 16th Region tourney next week.

Russell wins by 1 on a last second Skaggs 3 pointer.

If Russell can come out early making the 3's and controlling the turnovers and they hang in there. Davidson didn't play at Lewis Co this could make a difference. So could Stapleton not playing. I think Lewis is to much in the end.

Lewis Co by 5

Russell will win by 2 in OT.

After watching both teams play the other night I would say this game wouldn't be too close. I would think Lewis would win very comfortably, 15-20 pts. But Russell surprised the other night, so you never know. The devils will certainly have to shoot well from outside to stay close in this one.

Who wins or loses is always an open ? but there will be no 15 - 20 margin for either . . .

Russell "by a nose"

Good Luck to All

Should I have to eat crow again I certainly will, it sure wouldn't be the first time.:D

Lewis County 67

Russell 58

I hope that both teams remain injury free.
